September 2024 Inflation Year On Year (y-on-y) of Sulawesi Barat Province was 2.05 percent. The highest inflation occurred in Mamuju by 2.19 percent

In September 2024, year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Sulawesi Barat Province will be 2.05 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.04. The highest inflation occurred in Mamuju at 2.19 percent with a CPI of 105.71 and the lowest occurred in Majene Regency at 1.94 percent with a CPI of 106.24.

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in the expenditure group index, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 3.49 percent; clothing and footwear group by 1.56 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group at 0.31 percent; equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group of 0.50 percent; transportation group by 0.35 percent; information, communication and financial services group at 0.29 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 1.10 percent; education group at 2.94 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 3.63 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 2.37 percent.

The month to month (m-to-m) inflation rate for Sulawesi Barat Province is 0.33 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate is 0.79 percent.
