Abstract

  • Inflation in the city of Mamuju occurred because of the price increase shown by the increase in several expenditure group indexes, namely the food, beverage and tobacco groups 1.14 percent; clothing and footwear groups 0.07 percent; Housing, water, electricity and household fuel groups 0.10 percent; Groups of Equipment, Equipment, and Routine Maintenance of Households 1.30 percent; The transportation group is 2.11 percent, and the food and beverage/restaurant supply group is 0.06 percent. While the expenditure group that experienced deflation is a health group 1.45 percent; Information, Communication and Financial Services Group 0.61 percent; and private maintenance groups and other services 0.03 percent.

  • The calendar year index change rate in April 2022 in Mamuju recorded a 2.50 percent inflation and the index change rate of the year (April 2022 against April 2021) showed an inflation of 4.17 percent.

  • Based on the results of the consumer price survey of 90 cities in Indonesia in April 2022, showing that all cities experienced inflation with the highest inflation occurred in Tanjung Pandan by 2.58 percent and the lowest occurred in Gunungsitoli by 0.22 percent.
