Abstract
Inflation in the city of Mamuju occurred because of the price increase shown by the increase in several expenditure group indexes, namely the food, beverage and tobacco groups 0.58 percent; clothing and footwear groups 0.54 percent; Housing, water, electricity and household fuel groups 0.29 percent; group of equipment, equipment, and household routine maintenance 0.05 percent; health group 1.24 percent; Transportation group 2.27 percent; and the food and beverage/restaurant supply group 2.37 percent. While the expenditure group that experienced deflation is the information group, communication, and financial services 0.30 percent and the group of personal care and other services 0.21 percent.
The calendar year index change rate in June 2022 in Mamuju recorded a 3.92 percent inflation and the index change rate of the year (June 2022 against June 2021) showed an inflation of 3.84 percent.
Based on the results of the consumer price survey of 90 cities in Indonesia in June 2022, showed that 85 cities experienced inflation and 5 cities experienced deflation. The highest inflation occurred in Gunungsitoli by 2.72 percent and the lowest occurred in Pontianak by 0.07 percent. While the highest deflation occurred in Kendari by 0.61 percent and the lowest occurred in Tanjung Pandan by 0.03 percent.
