Abstract
Inflation in the city of Mamuju occurred because of the price increase indicated by the increase in some expenditure group indices namely food, beverage and tobacco groups 2.28 percent; Clothing group and footwear of 0.27 percent; housing groups, water, electricity, and household fuel 1.10 percent; Group equipment, equipment, and household routine maintenance of 0.36 percent; Information group, communication and financial services 1.12 percent; 1.50 percent recreational, sports and culture group; and the food and beverage / restaurant provision group 0.05 percent. While the expenditure group experiencing deflation is the transportation group of 0.20 percent.
The level of change in the calendar year in January 2022 in Mamuju recorded an inflation of 1.21 percent and the level of change in the year of the year (January 2022 against January 2021) showed an inflation of 4.16 percent.
Based on the results of the consumer price survey of 90 cities in Indonesia in January 2022, it showed that 85 cities experienced inflation and 5 cities experienced deflation. The highest inflation occurred in Sibolga of 1.53 percent and the lowest in Manokwari was 0.02 percent. While the highest deflation occurred in Kotamobagu by 0.66 percent and the lowest in Jayapura was 0.04 percent.
