Abstract
Based on the results of the 90 city consumer price survey in Indonesia in January 2023, the highest year on year (yoy) inflation occurred in Kotabaru by 7.78 percent with CPI of 119.97 and the lowest occurred in Sorong by 3.23 percent with CPI of 112 , 02. Yoy inflation in Mamuju was 4.26 percent with CPI of 114.61.
Yoy inflation in the city of Mamuju occurred because of the price increase shown by the increase in the majority of expenditure groups, namely food, beverage and tobacco groups by 1.29 percent; clothing and footwear groups of 2.42 percent; The residential group, water, electricity, and household fuel by 2.29 percent; household equipment, equipment and maintenance groups by 10.78 percent; health group by 1.40 percent; Transportation group of 19.54 percent; Recreation, sports and culture groups by 1.83 percent; education group by 0.62 percent; Food and beverage/restaurant supply group by 4.81 percent; and personal maintenance groups and other services by 9.39 percent. While the expenditure group that experienced a decline in index was the information, communication and financial services group by 2.63 percent.
Month to Month (MTM) inflation rate in January 2023 and Year to Date (YTD) inflation rate or the January 2023 calendar year of 0.63 percent.
