Abstract
Based on the results of the 90 city consumer price survey in Indonesia in March 2023, the highest year on year (yoy) inflation occurred in tual of 7.49 percent with CPI of 117.19 and the lowest occurred in Merauke by 3.17 percent with CPI of 112 , 59. Yoy inflation in Mamuju was 3.89 percent with CPI of 114.85.
Yoy inflation in the city of Mamuju occurs because of the price increase shown by the increase in the majority of expenditure groups, namely food, beverage and tobacco groups by 1.48 percent; clothing and footwear groups of 2.48 percent; residential groups, water, electricity, and household fuel by 2.06 percent; Groups of equipment, equipment, and household routine maintenance by 7.86 percent; health group by 2.29 percent; Transportation group of 17.26 percent; Recreation, sports and culture groups by 3.06 percent; education group by 0.62 percent; Food and beverage/restaurant supply group by 3.61 percent; and private maintenance groups and other services by 6.95 percent. While the expenditure group that experienced a decline in index was the information, communication and financial services group by 1.54 percent.
Month to Month (MTM) inflation rate in March 2023 is 0.05 percent and year to date inflation rate (YTD) or the March 2023 calendar year of 0.84 percent.
