In December 2021, Mamuju experienced inflation of 1.00 percent

Abstract

  • Inflation in the city of Mamuju occurred because of the price increase indicated by the increase in several expenditure group indices namely food, beverage and tobacco groups 1.83 percent; Clothing group and 0.09 percent footwear; housing, water, electrical and household fuel groups 0.97 percent; Health group 0.59 percent; Transportation group is 0.98 percent; and a group of recreation, sports and culture of 0.44 percent. While the expenditure group experiences deflation, namely the equipment, equipment, and routine maintenance of households 0.09 percent; Information group, communication and financial services 0.09 percent; and personal care groups and other services 0.06 percent.

  • The level of changes in the calendar year and changes in the year of the year from December 2021 in Mamuju recorded 4.39 percent inflation.

  • Based on the results of the consumer price survey of 90 cities in Indonesia in December 2021, indicating that 88 cities experienced inflation and 2 cities experienced deflation. The highest inflation occurred in Jayapura by 1.91 percent and the lowest in Pekanbaru by 0.07 percent. While the highest deflation occurred in Dumai at 0.13 percent and the lowest in Bukittinggi was 0.04 percent.
