Abstract
Based on the results of a 90 city consumer price survey in Indonesia in September 2023, the highest year on year (yoy) inflation occurred in Manokwari by 5.26 percent with CPI of 119.96 and the lowest occurred in Gorontalo and Manado with yoy inflation of each of 1.16 percent with CPI of 113.23 and 113.96. Yoy inflation in Mamuju was 1.19 percent with CPI of 115.84 ranks four lowest of 90 CPI.
Yoy inflation in the city of Mamuju occurs because of the price increase shown by the increase in most of the expenditure groups, namely the clothing and footwear group by 2.80 percent; Housing, water, electricity, and household fuel groups by 1.60 percent; Groups of equipment, equipment, and household routine maintenance by 5.94 percent; health group by 4.59 percent; Transportation group by 2.57 percent; Recreation, sports and culture groups by 3.29 percent; education group by 0.75 percent; food and beverage/restaurant supply group by 2.16 percent; and private maintenance groups and other services by 5.60 percent. While the expenditure group that experienced a decline in index was the food, beverage and tobacco groups by 0.82 percent and the financial, communication and financial services group by 1.45 percent.
Month to Month (MTM) inflation rate in September 2023 is 0.08 percent and year to date inflation rate (YTD) or the September 2023 calendar year of 1.71 percent.
