Abstract
The number of workforce in February 2023 was 718.00 thousand people, up 1.10 thousand people compared to February 2022. Meanwhile the level of labor force participation (TPAK) experienced a decline of 1.28 percent points to 67.62 in February 2023.
Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) February 2023 by 3.04 percent, down 0.07 percent points compared to February 2022.
The residents who worked as many as 696.15 thousand people, increased by 1.53 thousand people compared to February 2022. Employment that experienced the largest percentage of the health service and social activities (1.70 percent points). While the sectors that experienced the biggest decline were the agricultural, forestry and fisheries sectors (1.57 percent points).
As many as 68.52 percent (476.92 thousand people) worked in informal activities, down 6.09 percent points compared to February 2022.
The percentage of unemployed workers increased by 2.50 percent points, while the percentage of part -time workers fell by 4.61 percent points compared to February 2022.
