Abstract
The rice harvest area in 2021 is estimated at 59.76 thousand hectares, decreased by 5.06 thousand hectares or 7.81 percent compared to 2020 which amounted to 64.83 thousand hectares.
Padi production in 2021 is estimated at 311.07 thousand tons of GKG, decreasing as many as 33.98 thousand tons of GKG or 9.85 percent compared to 2020 which amounted to 345.05 thousand tons of GKG.
Rice production in 2021 for population food consumption is estimated at 178.66 thousand tons, decreased by 19.51 thousand tons or 9.85 percent compared to rice production in 2020 which amounted to 198.17 thousand tons.
