Abstract
• In July 2021, Mamuju experienced deflation of 0.46 percent. This deflation occurs because of the price decline shown by the decline in several expenditure group indexes namely food, beverage and tobacco groups 1.29 percent; 0.12 percent transportation group; and personal care groups and other services 0.15 percent. While the expenditure group experiencing inflation is a group of clothing and footwear of 0.07 percent; housing, water, electrical and household fuel groups 0.24 percent; Homework, equipment, and household maintenance groups 0.15 percent; Health group of 0.12 percent; Information group, communication and financial services of 0.29 percent; and a group of recreation, sports and culture of 0.98 percent.
• The level of change in the calendar year in July 2021 in Mamuju recorded 4.00 percent inflation and the level of change in the year of the year (July 2021 against July 2020) showed an inflation of 3.64 percent.
• Based on the results of the consumer price survey of 90 cities in Indonesia in July 2021, showing that 61 cities experienced inflation and 29 cities experienced deflation. The highest inflation occurred in Sorong by 1.51 percent and the lowest in Sampit was 0.01 percent. While the highest deflation occurred in Manokwari at 0.60 percent and the lowest in Maumere and Samarinda with deflation of 0.01 percent respectively.
