• Sulawesi Barat Farmers Terms of Trade on April 2019 is 111.09;
Increase 1.39 percent than on March 2019 Period. Furthermore,
FToT by subsector was registered for crops subsector (NTP-P)
101.46; horticulture subsector (NTP-H) 117.12; plantation
subsector (NTP-R) 117.67; animal husbandry subsector (NTP-T)
106.27; and fisheries subsector (NTN) 108.27.
• The results of monitoring of rural consumer prices indicate
that the rural inflation in Sulawesi Barat in April 2019 was 0.37
percent. This was generally triggered by the price index for
food expenditure groups, processed food, beverage, cigarette
and tobacco price index, price index for clothing expenditure
group, health expenditure group price index, and increased
price and transportation group price index.
• Inflation in rural areas occurred in 30 provinces in Indonesia,
the highest in Gorontalo at 1.75 percent and the lowest
in North Maluku by 0.13 percent. Meanwhile, three other
provinces increased deflation, the highest in Kepulauan Riau
by 0.22 percent. Sulawesi Barat moved 22nd out of 30 provinces
that moved to fight.
