Consumer Price Index/ Inflation Rate, November 2018 in Sulawesi Barat Province

Abstract

According to Consumer Price Survey Result that 82 cities in Indonesian on November 2018, indicate that 70 cities was inflation and 12 cities was deflation. The highest inflation rate was happen in Merauke amount of 2,05 percent and the lowest in Balik Papan amount of 0,01 percent. The highest deflation rate was happend in Medan amount of 0,64 percent and the lowlest in Pematang Siantar amount of 0.01 percent. Mamuju ranks occupy on 10th  from 12 cities that was happen deflation.

Deflation in Mamuju City on November 2018 was happen because decreased of price that shows by decreased price index  at two expenditure group there are food stuff 0,50 percent; prepared food, beverage, cigarette and tobacco group 0,05 percent; while the other was inflation like housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel group 0,09 percent; clothing 0,03 percent; health 0,28 percent; education, recreation and sport group 0,08 percent; and transportation, communication, and financial service 0,11 percent. 

The rate of index change of calender year on November 2018 in Mamuju was inflation 1.33 percent while change of index year by year (November 2018 to November 2017) was inflation 1.93 percent.
